I Love My Cat!!!

A couple months ago, we learned of a new tenant living rent-free in our kitchen…a Rat!

Well, my mom tried those glue traps, but they didn’t work, and plus, my sister an I opposed them cause, frankly, they’re pretty cruel.

We also ruled out the old-fashioned rat trap where you put a piece of cheese and the little rat goes to eat and then BAM! He’s dead…

Poison??? Out of the question. I have 2 very curious Dogs and I was not going to risk it.

What was left??? Getting a Cat…I love all things furry, so I agreed. We got a new Cat. I named “him” Salvador (after Salvador Dalí). He was kind of wild the first 2 weeks, but then he warmed up.

One day, I picked him up and decided to double-check the sex of the kitty…to my surprise, he didn’t have any balls…I renamed HER Gala (after Dalí’s Muse).

Anyways, Gala killed her very first Rat today!!! I gave her a big fat can of Tuna as a price!!! I love my Cat!!!

2 What do you think?:

So… let me get this straight… those glue traps are cruel… the old-fashioned rat trap… it’s too… what?? Loud???.... But being eaten by a cat is better because…??? !!! What??? You taught your cat to eat the head first???

Hehee I love Dali! And I also think those glue traps are terrible. We had to get one for a mouse, and I didn't realize how horrible they were until I saw the mouse on it the next morning, still moving...so sad.
